We walked this road to where it meets the Glenwood Horse Trail. Maybe this road is part of the horse trail too.

There are lots of old mines along the way. Iron mines I think since there are some Colliers Pits (for making charcoal) a few miles away on the AT and There are Iron Furnaces in the valley too!
