Afternoon of July 16, 2007 - Vermont countryside - on July 12th, I drove up to Ramapo College in northern NJ for the ATC biennial meeting, snookered 'em into electing me to the ATC Board (ho-ho), and then headed north to hike on the AT in Vermont with my good hiking friend Larry ("After"). *

While I was at Ramapo 2007, Larry came up and hiked the portion of VT that I did in 2001; I met him at the Whistlestop Restaurant, and we drove back down to North Adams to pick up where we left off last fall. We spent the night at the North Adams HoJo before starting our walk northward. *
