Back on the AT again in my long term quest to complete the AT hike I started way back in March 2001. This time I was hoping to walk the 400+ miles from Hanover to Katahdin, but fate had other plans. I did get to hike all of the White Mountains (hike sometimes meant crawl or climb or slide down), but a bad fall and injury to my hamstring convinced me to call it a day in Gorham and leave Mahoosec Notch and Maine for next year!
