A Febuary weekend in the Whites. We hiked Monroe, almost-Madison (via Kings Ravine) and Washington.

I hiked Mt Hight on the last day of winter in 2005. I also tried to get to Carter Dome, but the snow was just too much.

VSA and I spent the last weekend in March hiking North Kinsman on Saturday and Pisgah in Vermont on Sunday.

Album: Tuckerman's Ravine 2005
My friend Matt and I made our annual trip to Tuckerman Ravine on April 16th. It was very warm and there was more snow there that I have seen on any of our trips in the past. It made for some terrific skiing and my first time going abouve the Headwall. I skied over the Lip three times - twice on Saturday and one more time on Sunday. Just a fantastic weekend.

Album: Labor Day Weekend in Baxter State Park
We spent Labor Day Weekend with some friends in beautiful Baxter State Park. Saturday, we did the Traveler Loop. On Sunday, we hiked Katahdin (Baxter and South Peaks) up Abol Slide and down the AT. On Monday, we capped off the weekend with an out and back hike of Doubletop from the north.

Album: Weekend Trip to Denver/Boulder
I flew out to Denver for a weekend to see the Patriots play the Broncos. While I was there, I went for a mountain bike ride near Boulder and a tourist trip into the Rocky Mountain National Park.
